I'm bowyer, Tracy Trickett. I built my first bow in 1980 in a high school shop class in Butler, Pennsylvania. For several years after I built bows for myself, friends and family until I was employed as a bowyer in Central Ohio for 9 years. I have been designing, crafting, and hunting with traditional bows for over 3 decades. Archery is more than a hobby for me, it's my way of life. This is what I shoot and what I hunt with.
The bows that I offer are of my own design, built with the highest quality domestic and international exotic woods from my exclusive source. I give bowhunters the highest standards in craftsmanship that I can offer. My bows are made to shoot hunting weight arrows with authority... quietly. There are nearly 3 decades of my personal experience as a bowyer and bowhunter going into every bow that I build. If I don't like it, I won't shoot it, and I won't build it. I guarantee my expectations in a bow are greater than even yours, so I know you will be pleased with a Tree's Custom Bow.

A personal message from the Bowyer. July 17, 2010
My goal is to build the best shooting bow your money can buy. Quality in my craftsmanship is extremely important to me and especially to you. My life has time constraints just like everybody else and right now I am battling some personal health issues that are slowing me down so I must make a few changes in what I am offering so that I can maintain my quality and delivery standards and offer better choices in your custom bow. I have had plans to introduce two new one piece bows but no time to build the forms and prototypes and test before I offer them to my customers.
At this point I am overwhelmed with orders and am not able to get bows done in a timely fashion. I am not currently taking any new custom orders and will begin to take orders when I get caught up, which should be close to the New Year. I am working to get the orders I currently have completed as soon as possible. As soon as I am able I will announce that I am ready to take new orders and at that point I will only take 15 orders for custom bows for 2011. If I am able to build extra bows they will be available either on this website or through my dealers. If you are comfortable with a wait of nine months or longer, I will take your order with no deposit and will contact you when I get close to building your bow.
I have also adjusted my prices on my basic models and I have increased the basic wood options giving you more choices at the basic bow price.
I would like to thank those who have been patient with me who have had orders in. I am working to get your bow done as promised. For those of you considering one of my bows, I hope I am able to better accommodate you in 2011 as I endeavor to make a bow you can be proud of.
